Contrary to Canelo’s fights, this division has quite the competitive number of fighters who can win the belt at any time. However, Crawford was still tonight’s favorite and he proved it across all 12 rounds tonight. Shawn Porter is an orthodox type of boxer that has a style very similar to former Heavyweight Deontay Wilder. There isn’t really any rhythm with his feet but he always seeks for those bombs in an unpredictable manner. The problem is that southpaw Crawford knows how to take his opponents into deep waters, a true artist at his craft.

Crawford produces a 10th round TKO.
After 9 rounds of an absolute war, Terence Crawford struggled to find that sweet spot he was looking for but he got there in Round 10. With a five over four round advantage, the champ decided to get that money shot as soon as bell rang. When Porter fell the first time, he seemed cool with it and didn’t even flinch. However, Crawford started connecting several punches after that initial knock-down. By the time he was taken down for the second time, Porter’s corner was the one that decided to end the fight and keep Crawford with his winning streak. After tonight’s win, the champ moves up to 38-0 as the undisputed Welterweight champion.
