Information reaching worldtopnewsng.com expressed that Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Fatai Owoseni has responded to questions raised and exposed the myth name of Badoo which have been given a media hype by the journalists in the last few months.

A top security boss who was at the meeting held at the palace of Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi on Tuesday, 1st August, 2017 disclosed to worldtopnewsng.com that CP Owoseni has cautioned and pledged that whoever is caught of jungle justice will definitely confront full fierceness of the law.

He applauded monarchs, Bales and volunteer groups for their roles played to ensure Ikorodu is save for business owners and residents.

“I will like to thank you (Oba Kabiru Shotobi), others rulers, for the role played in ensuring Ikorodu is safe for all”.

“We urged all of you traditional rulers, volunteer groups, religious leaders in handle the crises in Ikorodu, for example, charity begins at home and the need to erase the impression of labelling everything that happen in the area as Badoo.

“All hands must be on deck to put a stop to the menace of the serial killers (Badoo) in Ikorodu, impunity of jungle justice being perpetrated by the residents on innocent citizens must stop.

“I enjoin you all to start operation know your neighbours.

Owoseni emphasized more on community policing and the need to revisit crime scene of past related killing to recreate the events in different scenarios to deduce scientific reasoning in the cause of investigation.

A ruler who didn’t need his name mention unveiled details of the meeting to worldtopnewsng.com said the police boss did not keep his words down as he asked and cautioned Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and as well Area Commanders from professional conduct and for them to recommit themselves to the job and furthermore to guarantee security of lives and properties.

Owoseni said the work is impossible without the traditional rulers, as he gears up to visit residents of Ibeshe area of Ikorodu today (Wednesday).

Those at the meeting according to the monarch are DCP Bolaji Salami of the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Area Commander Ikorodu, Commander of the Rapid Response Squad Lagos State, ACP Tunji Disu, DPOs among others.
