Agege LG EXCO Suspends Supervisor For Works Osolana Indefinitely

Agege Local Government Supervisory Councillor for Works, Sola Osolana, has been indefinitely suspended from the council executive following his alleged role played in the invasion of the Legislative Complex by hoodlums recently, Worldtopnewsng reports.

Recall that Worldtopnewsng had reported the summoned and Osolana appearance at the Legislative Complex to explain his role in the invasion.

Worldtopnewsng gathered that the Executive Council (EXCO) of the LG issued last Friday following the recommendation of the legislators (councillors) for his removal had taken the decision.

A source who revealed the outcome of the EXCO meeting to Worldtopnewsng said, “As I speak with you, the councillors already sent a recommendation letter to the Chairman for his removal, but I don’t think the Chairman will do that, he chose not to interfere in the legislative process,” the sources asserted.

He explained further that, “I’m aware the EXCO had met on Friday to discuss the letter, but after hours of deliberations, they concluded on his (Osolana) suspension instead of sacking him as recommended by the councillors.”
