Wilder Plans Revenge On Tyson Fury
After suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of Tyson Fury in their second bout, Deontay Wilder is planning to exact revenge in Las Vegas on Saturday evening, when the pair meet for the third time.
In what will complete one of the great money-spinning trilogies in modern boxing history, Wilder had gone to court to demand the third fight he felt was part of the initial agreement with Fury.
The judge ruled in favour of Wilder, and he will have a chance to be the first professional to ever inflict defeat on the Gypsy King.
Wilder, though, continues to believe Fury cheated in the second fight, although just how the Brit cheated is a matter that isn’t clear in the mind of the American.
Be it doctored gloves, spiked water or even a conspiracy from within his own training team, Wilder’s reasons for a heavy defeat have varied from the absolutely ridiculous to the extremely ridiculous.
Furthermore, the fact remains that Wilder was extremely fortunate not to lose the first fight on points after being outboxed by a 50 percent healthy Fury, and it was only the incredible 12th round knockdown which kept the belts with Wilder.
“Before you stands a rejuvenated and reinvented Deontay Wilder,” Wilder declared to the press.
“The old Deontay will be gone. I can’t show it, but you will see it in combat.”
