Paul Pogba isn’t having his best spell at Manchester United at the moment, but after his agent’s comments about his unhappiness sparked rumours, the French midfielder has spoken out to affirm his committment to the club.

Pogba has had many critics since returning to United for a fee of 105 million euros in 2016 but amid this latest speculation, he has posted on social media to distance himself from talk of a potential exit.

“I’ve always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my team-mates and the fans,” wrote Pogba on Instagram.

“Bla bla is not important. The future is far, today is what matters.

“I am 1,000 percent involved! Always strong together.. all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change. When you don’t know what’s going on inside don’t talk.”

Pogba was once again the subject of criticism after the 0-0 derby draw against Manchester City, with United legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville admitting they have little time for the French international.

“The reason Paul Pogba gets more criticism is quite simply because he is the biggest signing, a world champion and there’s a large expectation around him. I can accept a player not playing well but his agent and best friend has tried to get him out of this football club for the last 15 months,” said Neville.

Keane meanwhile stated that if he wants to leave then United should let him go as no player is bigger than the club which will always survive.

“It’s no big deal players have wanted to leave United before, Daivd Beckham wanted to leave, Peter Schmeichel wanted to leave and these are all legends of the club,” said Keane.

“Let him go get a few bob in January or the summer, no big deal. If he leaves again Man Utd will survive, trust me.”
