Supreme Court Sacks Sheriff, Declare Ahmed Makarfi As Authentic PDP Chairman
The Supreme Court Sitting in Abuja on Wednesday declared Senator Ahmed Makarfi as authentic Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Apex court holds that the PDP National Convention which held in Port Harcourt was valid.
Recall that Ali Modu Sheriff led National Executive Committee was dissolved and appointed Ahmed Makarfi as Chairman of Caretaker Committee at the said convention.
The judgement has put to rest the leadership crisis in leading opposition party in the country.
