Steve Kerr Compares Donald Trump To ‘Brick’ From ‘Anchorman’

Considering Donald Trump’s outward support for the NRA and his recent suggestion that teachers should be armed to prevent school shootings, Warriors coach Steve Kerr did not exactly expect Trump to talk the way he did on Wednesday in a meeting with lawmakers.
Then, Trump accused certain Republicans of having too close of a relationship with the NRA and that he would embrace comprehensive gun control. Did that leave Kerr pleasantly surprised?
“Pleasantly surprised? I was hardly surprised,” Kerr said following practice on Thursday at Georgetown University. “I think he forgot what side he was on.”
Kerr then compared Trump to a certain dopey weatherman for a fictitious news station in San Diego.
“It reminded me of ‘Anchorman’ when Brick ends up on the wrong side of the fight and he’s like, ‘Yeah!’ And they’re like, No, Brick, you’re on this side,’” Kerr said, laughing.
