South African Kevin Anderson reached his first Wimbledon final with a heart-stopping 7-6, 6-7, 6-7, 6-4, 26-24 win over John Isner on Friday.
The match lasted 6hrs 36 minutes, the longest ever singles semifinal at Wimbledon.
Isner is known for his long matches, he won an 11hr marathon at Wimbledon 8 years ago.
The last South African to reach the Wimbledon Finals was Kevin Curren. He lost to Boris Becker in the 1985 finals.
The winner of the ongoing Djokovic-Nadal game will play Anderson in the final.
