Despite all of the current news that involves the mass approval and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines to the public, the pandemic remains an omnipresent force in the lives of the people all around the globe.
Many organizations and governments including Lagos still have strict COVID-19 protocols to curtail the spread and impact of the virus.

And what actually happened in Lekki, the upscale part of Lagos over the weekend, was one of what could be described as a lawless society, as many top Lagos influential personalities, creme de la creme of Lagos party and power gathering come together to stage party like a carnival with the King of Fuji music, the Mayegun of Yorubaland; K1 De Ultimate on the bandstand.
Meanwhile, in April, Nigerian actress Funke Akindele-Bello was arrested after hosting a birthday party for her husband during a lockdown in the country, though, she was fronting a ‘Stay Home’ campaign.
The Nollywood comedy star faced backlash after her husband posted a video of the party on his Instagram live feed.
