APC Primary: Ojodu LCDA ABAT Movement Congratulates Asiwaju Over Landslide Victory
The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) Movement, Ojodu chapter hereby congratulate the National Leader of our great party (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his landslide victory at the just concluded presidential primary held at Eagles Square, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja on Wednesday 8th, June, 2022.
We described the emergence of the former Executive Governor as a victory for democracy and demonstration of his influence and acceptability, not only within the APC but across the length and breadth of the country.
He emerged as our flagbearer after securing the majority of the delegates’ votes to defeat his closest rivals Mr. Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who scored 316 and 235 votes respectively.
The emergence of Asiwaju in the hitch-free electoral process was a clear indication that the country was on the verge of democratic rejuvenation.
We expressed confidence in the capacity and competence of Asiwaju to deliver victory for the party in the 2023 Presidential election.
He would deploy his administrative acumen to take the country to enviable heights ever known in history. Asiwaju has the requisite leadership qualities and experience to govern the country to promised land.
He’s not just a leader of leaders but a finest politician who had used his God-given wisdom and wealth to build humanity and advance our dear country
It is on record that his phenomenal leadership and enigmatic fortress had in no measure contributed significantly to the growth and development of Lagos State where he served as a two-term Governor and of course Nigeria as is evident in his support and influence across the nooks and crannies of the country.
Furthermore, we thank our dear Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Ekiti, Ogun and Ondo, Osun counterparts, our party leaders Chief Bisi Akande, and Chief Segun Osoba for their support and guidance and critical intervention which ensured that an aspirant from the region emerged as the presidential candidate of the party.
We also pray that God Almighty keep blessing our leader, Cardinal James I. Odunmbaku, the General, his night and day prayers for this course has yielded victoriously, thank you, God will continue to strengthen him.
