Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 Already Has A Rearranged Date
The hotly anticipated third bout between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder now has a rearranged date, with the initial plan having been delayed due to Fury contracting COVID-19.
Fury will defend both his heavyweight and lineal championships against Wilder on October 9 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Fury is being forced to fight against Wilder as per a contractual stipulation from his second bout with the American, despite the fact an agreement to fight Anthony Joshua was reportedly close to being signed.
When quizzed on the bout with his fellow Brit, the Gypsy King was quick to make clear that he never truly believed it would happen.
“I have never been optimistic about that fight, even when we initially agreed and were ready to do it in Saudi Arabia,” Fury commented.
“I think sooner or later it will happen, even if we have to do it without permission and throw all our belts away to make it happen.
“I’m willing to do that, but I’m not sure about it.”
