Tunisia Detect UK Virus Strain

Infections caused by the coronavirus strain first found in the UK have been detected in Tunisia, the country’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The ministry, however, did not provide any information on how many cases of the variant it has recorded.

According to the World Health Organization, the mutation has appeared in at least 86 countries so far.

Tunisia registered 392 more virus cases, 21 deaths, and 722 recoveries on Monday.

The North African country’s overall caseload stands at over 233,600, including 8,022 deaths and more than 198,700 recoveries.
