Primate Ayodele Debunks Bayo Adelabu’s Extortion Claim
...Say you came to me because you're desperate to be Oyo governor

Servant of God and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has reacted to the allegation made by Nigeria’s Power minister, Adebayo Adebayo, that he demanded money from him to make him Oyo State governor.
Adelabu, according to reports, had petitioned the DSS claiming Primate Ayodele asked him for N150 million allegedly for ‘spiritual intercession’. A claim the popular cleric denied while he stated that Adelabu indeed approached him first for spiritual help.
“He sent emissaries to me because he was desperate to become Oyo governor. I didn’t blackmail him. We didn’t have any transaction. And no money was exchanged between us,” Ayodele said.
However, the cleric said he discussed some terms with Adelabu regarding the process for the spiritual assistance sought, but he didn’t agree with the terms “and it ended there”.
“I made no attempt to extort him. If he didn’t believe in what I do? Why did he come to someone he claims is dishing out fake prophesies?,” Primate Ayodele stated.
