PDP Dissolves Caretaker Committee In Benue, Jigawa

The National Working Committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved the caretaker committee in Benue, Jigawa and other states.

The party made the decision at the NWC meeting convened by National Chairman, Senator Ahmed Makarfi on Monday in Abuja.Makarfi described the Caretaker Committee constituted in some state during the 14 months leadership crisis as illegal.

He affirmed that elected executives that won in state congresses are officially State Executive Committe and directed them to take over party structures in their respective states.

The Authentic National Chairman turbid members to commence reconciliation and mobilization at the state level.
