….calls for prosecution of suspected killers
Frontline Delta State House of Assembly hopeful, Comrade Ameh Ogedegbe, has condemned in the strong terms the brutal murder of Miss Elozino Ofehe, a 300 level student of the Delta State University, Abraka.
Ogedegbe who is contesting for the seat of the representative of Isoko North under the platform of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, spoke to reporters this morning in his base in Abuja. He called on the police to bring those behind the killings to book no matter how highly placed they are.
“it is sad that this unfortunate event happened in the first place. I am still wondering when and how our society sank to this ugly level. I have read various accounts of how the young lady was murdered and I begin to wonder where these beasts of killers incarnated from.
“I am adding my voice to those of other lovers of life and haters of evil that these criminals must be diligently prosecuted and made to face the full repercussions of their misdeeds. No matter how highly placed they are, they must be brought to justice.
“I salute the effort and successes of the police so far and I am calling on them to finish this task so as to restore the people’s confidence in them.
