The 63rd edition of the Grammy Awards has been cancelled. The ceremony had been scheduled for January 31, but has now been delayed with no new date set.

The event has been put on hold because of the ongoing rise in COVID-19 cases around the world.

It has been hinted that the ceremony could be reorganised for March, but nothing is finalised yet.

Los Angeles and California have been hard hit by the coronavirus in recent weeks, leading to the decision to postpone.
