My Second Term Will Bring More Dividends Of Democracy, Sanwo-Olu Says As He Meets Lagos APC-ICC Members
The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has again assured Lagosians that his second term in office would bring about more dividends of democracy, especially in the areas of infrastructural development, improved health care services and abundant food production.
Mr Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by his Deputy Dr Obafemi Hamzat was addressing his supporters at the Independent Campaign Council (ICC) office in Ikeja GRA, Lagos. He said his second term would be used to consolidate on his achievements in the last three and a half years.
Sanwo-Olu recalled the many people-oriented projects which were targeted at improving the quality of life.
The Director General of the ICC, Mr Tayo Ayinde commended the governor for creating the time to meet with party faithful in spite of his busy schedule.
Ayinde pointed out that the crowd at the venue was made up of tradesmen and women who had pledged their support for the governor in his second term bid.
He expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would secure at least five million votes in the gubernatorial and presidential elections.
The huge crowd expressed their support with songs and party slogans.
The occasion was witnessed by cabinet members and party stalwarts.
the chairman of the ICC, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Directors and other officials of the campaign group were on hand to welcome the governor and his entourage.
