Less Than 20 New COVID-19 Infections Diagnosed In Nigeria, Lowest In 13 Months

Nigeria has seen a sharp drop in daily mortality and infection rates since the pandemic peaked in late March 2020, worldtopnewsng.com reports.

Thus, Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) on Monday reported 18 new infections of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the lowest rate in 13 months.

In an official tweet by the NCDC, Nigeria now has 165,199 confirmed cases of the deadly virus as at Monday night with no new fatalities recorded.

Lagos lead the way with 8 fresh infections from the 18 new cases added on Monday.

As at 22:16 on Monday, Nigeria had recorded 155,371 discharged and a total of 2,063 fatalities so far.
