The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council’s directorate of volunteer/support group held its inaugural meeting ahead of the 2023 general elections. The meeting was held on December 7, at the Lagos APC secretariat, ACME Road, Ikeja.
At the meeting in Lagos, the directorate pledged to help the campaign focus on its message for contemporary challenges facing the country around economy, security and other key issues.
The directorate is responsible for delivering the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, renewed Hope manifesto, the re-election of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the three senatorial districts, twenty-four house of representatives and forty state assembly candidates to the people of Lagos State.
The directorate includes diaspora mobilization, volunteer group coordinator, civil services matters and labour relations and support and allied matters headed by Engr. Adekunle Olayinka as Director, former Executive Chairman of Bariga Local Council Development Area, Hon. Sulaimon Oriyomi, Mr Segun Agbaje and Alhaji Jide Oni as its Deputy Directors and Agege Local Government Vice-Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Abiola as Secretary.
Other members of the directorate include, Jarmaine Sanwoolu, Hon. Yinka Durosinmi, Mrs Oyeyemi Ayoola and Alimi Nurudeen as Assistant Directors among others.
Others are Barr. Saka Fafunmi, Gbenga Odofin, Lara Zonsi, Olaitan Ogidan, Engr. Femi Onagbeyi, Hon. Sesan Odunyingbo, Hon. Tayo Sodeinde, Mrs Bimbo Osikoya, Adeyemi Fetuga, Hon. Kehinde Adeniyi, Lekan Balogun, Babatunde Williams, Razak Amodu, Damola Atanda Lawal, Alh Amao, Gbenga John Ogundare, Aminat Abdul-Salam and Peter Ajayi.
