The signing ceremony took place in the Chairman’s office on Monday, December 22 2025, marking a significant milestone for the council’s development agenda.

The budget, anchored on the administration’s HEWA Agenda—Health, Education, Wealth creation, and Empowerment—prioritises:

Infrastructure Development: Rehabilitation of roads and drainage systems across wards.

Social Services: Increased funding for education, healthcare, and welfare programs.

Economic Growth: Initiatives to boost local enterprise, agriculture, and youth empowerment.

Jakande emphasized transparency and community participation, noting that the budget was shaped through stakeholder engagement across all nine wards. “This is a people-driven instrument for sustainable growth,” he declared, as the LCDA sets its sights on a transformative year.
