Iran’s Coronavirus Death Toll Surpasses 100,000

Iran reported 564 more COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the nationwide death toll to 100,255.

A daily case count of 31,266 pushed the overall tally above 4.5 million, according to Health Ministry figures.

More than 3.84 million patients have recovered so far, while 7,538 remain in critical condition, the data showed.

A little over 21.49 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Iran to date.

Nearly 16.25 million people have received a first dose and more than 5.23 million have been given both jabs, the ministry said.
