Hardship: Egunjobi Empowers 100 Residents With N100k Grant Each
The Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, High Chief (Alh) Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi (JP), has empowered 100 residents with a cash sum of N100,000.00 (one hundred thousand naira) each.
The presentation ceremony was held on Friday, April 12, 2024, and the council chairman was represented by the Supervisor for the Women Affairs & Poverty Alleviation department of the council, Alhaja Aramide Abdulsalam.
The financial assistance is part of the laudable programs initiated by the High Chief Egunjobi-led administration since its inception.
Egunjobi urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds to alleviate their suffering caused by the fuel subsidy removal.
The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the council chairman, Egunjobi, for his concern for the needy in the Agege community.
