Free Train Service: Osun Indigenes Laud Aregbesola

Indigenes of Osun state living in Lagos, Abeokuta and Ibadan have commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s administration for providing free train services that conveyed them home for the Easter festival.
The indigenes, who gathered in their large number in Osogbo, gave the commendation while speaking with journalists.
Governor Aregbesola had earlier directed the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives and Empowerment to provide free train to convey indigenes of the state from Ebute Meta, Lagos, Abeokuta and Ibadan to celebrate Easter Festival with their people at home.

 

The train that conveyed thousands of Osun indigenes arrived Osogbo terminus at 8pm on Thursday, while another hundreds of Osun indigenes arrived with Omoluabi Train on Friday at about 9pm.
While addressing the enthusiastic passengers, the state Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Ismaila Jayeoba Alagbada, expressed satisfaction with the arrangements.
