The struggle on who will replace the vacant seat left by the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, Senator Isiaka Adeleke who died on Sunday, 23rd April, 2017 has put leaders of both All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in dilemma.
Last week, worldtopnewsng.com, exclusively reported that APC was brainstorming on fielding Deji Adeleke who is brother to the deceased, Isiaka Adeleke in order to douse tension on the death.
A source who revealed new political strategy to worldtopnewsng.com, on Tuesday said a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Rafiu Adejare Bello is making moves to reconcile both Makarfi and Sheriff-led factions in the state so as to let a common candidate emerge for the election.
Though, both Bello and Dr Iyiola Omisore were deputy governorship and governorship candidates respectively during 2014 gubernatorial election in the state, the former is one of the leaders of Sheriff faction while latter is the leader of Makarfi led PDP in the state.
