Eid-el-Fitr: Obasa Congratulates Muslims; Urges Patriotism For National Prosperity
The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Eromosele Ebhomele, he urged Muslims to rededicate themselves to God and to show patriotism towards their country for national prosperity.
Obasa stated that Ramadan was a time of reflection and gratitude for the blessings and opportunities granted by Allah.
He also emphasized the importance of engaging in acts of charity and love towards others, as well as giving generously.
He called on all Nigerians, regardless of their religious beliefs, to work together towards building a peaceful, united, and prosperous Nigeria.
He acknowledged the progress that has been made in Lagos State thanks to the effective collaboration among the arms of the government, and promised to continue to build on their successes.
The Speaker’s prayer is that Allah will continue to bless Nigeria and its people, and that all Muslims’ supplications will be heard during this period.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a beautiful celebration on behalf of his family, colleagues at the House, and the management and staff of the Assembly.
