The United States Soccer Federation have officially released the list of players nominated for the country’s best player of 2020 prize with Barcelona’s right-back Sergino Dest among the nominees.
Tyler Adams (RB Leipzig), Weston McKennie (Juventus), Jordan Morris (Seattle Sounders), Christian Pulisic (Chelsea) and Gyasi Zardes (Columbus Crew) have been also nominated for the prize.
Dest has already won the Young Player of the Year prize, one which was awarded to him by the American federation back in 2019.
Voting begins on December 10 and ends six days later with the winners being announced on Friday, December 18.
