Ayinde, Obanikoro, Odunmbaku Urge Party Leaders, Members In Alimosho, Oshodi/Isolo To Resolve Differences

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alimosho and Oshodi/Isolo Local Governments has resolved to settle their lingering differences and pull resources together to ensure the success of the party in the March 11 governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state.

Party stalwarts and stakeholders attended Town Hall meetings called at the instance of Mr Tayo Ayinde, the Director General, Independent Campaign Council (ICC) Lagos APC to review the party’s performance in the just concluded Presidential election.

The Alimosho Town Hall meeting was well attended by party leaders and members who expressed sadness at the poor performance of the party in Alimosho in the recently held Presidential election.

All stakeholders including the youth, market men and women, artisans and party agents reviewed the lapses in the election and promised to make the necessary adjustments.

A former deputy governor in the state Mrs Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire and a party leader, Mr Abdullahi Enilolobo called on their supporters to work in unison as they were all working towards the same goal of ensuring a second term for Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as governor of Lagos State.

 

Addressing the gathering, the ICC Director General promised to ensure that Alimosho gets the necessary support before the election.

The town hall meeting in Oshodi was witnessed by party stalwarts including former Ambassador to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Chairman of ICC, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, and Elder Alabi Mcfoy among others. They all advised all stakeholders to bury their differences and re-strategize to ensure the success of the party in the next election.

Addressing the gathering, Ayinde pledged to empower party members with the necessary materials for the door-to-door campaign which he said would restore the standing of the party in Oshodi.

The ICC leadership was also in Mushin to celebrate with party members for delivering forty-one thousand (41,000) votes, the largest by any Lagos local government for APC in the Presidential election.

All the stakeholders in Mushin pledged to redouble their efforts and deliver more votes in the gubernatorial election.
