Barcelona, Real Madrid’s Remaining Fixtures

Spread the love

With both Barcelona and Real Madrid both winning their respective matches on Saturday, the LaLiga title race is likely to go down to the final matchday, with it interesting to look at their respective remaining fixtures.

Both teams are level on 84 points whilst Los Cules hold a slender advantage as a result of their superior head-to-head record against Zinedine Zidane’s charges.

However, Real Madrid have the luxury of having one extra game to play whilst Barcelona have just the two matches left.

The next matchday has a unified kick-off schedule with all matches set to be played on Sunday May 14 at 20:00 CET.

As of yet the final matchday kick-off times haven’t been decided although Los Blancos’ game in hand against Celta Vigo will come in-between Barcelona’s two matches.

This is likely to be a pivotal evening with the Madrid side likely able to secure the LaLiga championship with just two more successive victories over Sevilla and the Galician side.

Here is what the respective calendars look like for both teams fighting for the Spanish crown:

Barcelona: Las Palmas-Barcelona May 14, Barcelona-Eibar May 21

Real Madrid: Real Madrid-Sevilla May 14, Celta Vigo-Real Madrid May 17, Malaga-Real Madrid May 21.
