APC Lied, I Left N20 Billion In Coffers – Mimiko

The immediate past government in Ondo State led by Dr. Olusegun Mimiko said it got out N20 billion in the state coffers, ruining claims by the choice All Progressives Congress (APC) that it procured N150 billion commitment.

It said the claim by the APC spokesperson, Mr. Abayomi Adesanya, that the new government met a commitment profile of N150b, “is a lie from the pit of hell.”

It incited the APC to face the matter of organization instead of getting a charge out of shabby coercion that won’t legitimize its order. The Commissioner for Information in the last administration, Mr. Kayode Akinmade, reacting to the commitment profile affirm in Akure yesterday, said the Mimiko association which did not go into any lawfully restricting responsibility to warrant any extension in the outside commitment procured by it when it acknowledged office eight years back, could decrease the commitment profile to $49.9 million.

He said Adesanya is plainly terrified by the execution record of the past government and will rather continue with his pre-choice lie and lie-pitching to search for thought, than live with reality.

Akinmade explained further that the outside commitment were abroad contracted responsibilities began by the two past governments before the snappy past one.

He put the debt unit commitments incurred by the last administration at about N53 billion with pay back installments of about N20 billion, submitting however that the Mimiko-led government left over N20 billion in the state’s coffers for the APC government.
