APC Alleges Move To Rig LG Election, Accuses Gov Okowa Of Sharing Toyota SUVs To DSEIC Officials

Ahead of March 6, 2021, Local Government Area election in Delta State, information at worldtopnewsng.com disposal claimed that Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has perfected all the plans with the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) officials led by the Chairman, Barr. Mike Ogbodu, to make sure that any of the opposition parties in the State don’t win any seat.

The Convener of APC Delta Watch, Pst. Eugene Oghenekohme, disclosed this to our reporter in Lagos on Saturday that, “It will interest the general public to know that Governor Okowa has released Toyota SUV Jeeps to the key actors in DSIEC office to pacify them to agree to his biddings of ensuring that only his party, the PDP win all the local government seats in the upcoming local government election,” the statement read.

Oghenekohme expressed further that all the DSIEC key actors have abandoned their homes and relocated to Government House lodge where they will stay and perfect all the LGA election results in favour of the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP).

The Convener of APC Delta Watch, Oghenekohme, and other stakeholders in Delta state allegedly raised the alarm and call on the Department of State Service (DSS), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and all other relevant agencies to take it as a matter of urgency to investigate the allegation.

The party said it doesn’t have confidence in DSIEC for conducting a free and fair election with the development.

Those allegedly believed to have benefitted from this gift include, Barr. Mike Ogbodu and Mr Onwuma, Chairman and Secretary of the Commission
and many other key actors some of whom allegedly are Commissioners in the Commission.
