Agege Born, Itunu Becomes First Female Lagos Youth Parliament Speaker

An Agege born, Rt. Hon. Soniregun Maria Itunu, has been elected as the first female Speaker of the 5th Lagos State Youth Parliament.

She is the youngest honourable at the 5th Assembly of the Lagos Youth Parliament and also the first female.

Speaker Itunu represents the Constituency of the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.

She is an undergraduate of Philosophy at the Lagos State University (LASU) and a former Ast. Head Girl of Government Senior College, Agege.

Her emergence was fully supported by the Rt. Hon. Speaker.

The election was done on the 21st of February 2024.
