Purported Statement On Okowa, DTHA And Delta Workers Untrue – Ebireri

Former Chief Press Secretary to Rt. Hon. Ovwigho Igbuya, Mr. Henry Ebireri, on Monday refuted the report on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Honourable members of the Delta State House of Assembly and workers in the state.

He also described as malicious and ill motivated the report of a purported statement credited to him.

“The report titled: DTHA and Delta Delta Workers” was a figment of the imagination of the author. It is a malicious and evil motivated report being peddled by our detractors.

He said that Igbuya had never granted interview since May 11, 2017.

“Let me state categorically that I never issued such a statement”

Ebireri condemned the recourse to Nazi tactics by desperate politicians and media practitioners.

He enjoined the public to ignore the lies being peddled by those who obviously do not wish Delta State well.

The former chief press secretary who acknowledged Governor Okowa’s impeccable role in the unity and development of the state praised the governor for his integrity, principle and efficiency.

“Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the driving force in Delta State has vigorously pursued his agenda for socio-economic and political transformation”

He commended Okowa for his immense contributions to the development of the state.

He also applauded the principal officers and members of the Delta State House of Assembly for satisfying the aspirations of the electorate.
