2023: Obasa Youth Crusade Team Rolls Out Plans, Promises Epoch-making Event

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Obasa Youth Crusade Team led by Agege Local Government Vice Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Abiola (Agbelebu), has rolled out plans for the event to make it one of the best youth events in the country.

The committees at a press conference held in Agege Local Government council secretariat on Saturday, November 5, 2022, stated that the purpose of the crusade is to bring Agege federal constituency youths together to galvanize votes for their candidates.

The event, according to the organizers promised to be an epoch-making will have youths and artists in Agege head to the Agege International Stadium on Saturday, November 12, to celebrate the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa.

Abiola expressed further that the committees are working tirelessly to make make sure the event hold as planned.

During the crusade, the youths will be engaged in the modalities of the 2023 general elections campaigns, asserting that the festival will go beyond celebrating Obasa.

“Over 20,000 youths to converge in Agege for the event. We at Obasa Youth Crusade organize this epoch event to celebrate our leader, a political icon, the Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, he’s worthy of emulating,” Abiola said.

He added: “Gentlemen of the press, aside from our celebration and campaign for the Rt. Hon. Speaker, we’ll be campaigning for all candidates of our great party, starting from the national leader of our party, the leader of all leaders, the Jagaban of Borgu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for president, the re-election of our performing Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Her Excellency, Dr Idiat Adebule for Senator Lagos West”.

“We also going to campaign for our own Dr. Wale Ahmed for reps and Alhaji Jubril Abdul Kareem for Lagos State House of Assembly 02. Before now we have started the campaign and at the event, we’ll engage our youths on the plan of the campaign.”
