2023: Lagos Youth Inaugurates Campaign Support Group For BAT/Obasa

Ahead of 2023 general elections, former Agege Local Government Sole Administrator, Gbenga Abiola, has inaugurated Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) and Mudashiru Obasa youths campaign teams across the 20 LGs and 37 local council development areas in Lagos states.

The Obasa Youth Alliance (OYA) was launched in Omole Phase 1, Lagos on Saturday, April 10, 2021, under the leadership of Gbenga Abiola, founder and Comrade Jamiu Ademosu as Director-General of the group.

The mission of the group is to project the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s chieftain, Bola Tinubu, visionary idea of sustainable national development as he prepares to formally declare his intention to contest the 2023 Presidential election.

The DG, Ademosu said, he accepted the appointment wholeheartedly to join the Obasa Youth Alliance (OYA) because of the visionary mindset the former Lagos state governor and the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly has for the country and Nigerian Youths.

Ademosu who also is the Vice-Chairman, (Lagos West) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos chapter expressed further that no going back on BAT/Obasa 2023.

“2023 is out time, either they like it or not, no going back on mobilizing the youths for Bola Tinubu and Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.”

In his remark, Abiola, the Secretary to the local government thanked the group for their support. “I thank you all for coming. This is our project, Asiwaju and Rt. Hon. Speaker 2023. There’s no time to waste time, let us get to work on the house to house campaign and mobilise our fellow citizens,” Abiola stated.

The group coordinators consisted of leaders and comrades of student and youth groups spread across Lagos.
