A pro-Labour organization, Labour & Workers Welfare Advocacy Centre (LWWA), has expressed excitement over the early performance of the newly appointed Post-Master General of Federation, Hon Ismail Adewusi, just few days in office.
The group, in a statement signed by its leader, Comrade Razak Omobanke, said, “hitting the ground running by Adewusi has confirmed our belief that President Muhammadu Buhari has not chosen a wrong person to man one of the vital sectors of the economy.”
According to the statement, Adewusi has started consolidating the efforts of his immediate predecessor, saying, “the step is in line with the continuity policy of President Muhammadu in all the vital sectors of the economy the NIPOST inclusive.
The organization observed that NIPOST service delivery has improved under Adewusi and
its rating has improved among all government agencies, pointing out that the outfit is a major contributor to the Nations Revenue.
The right group therefore reinstated its commendation for President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Mr Adewusi as the Post Master General of the Federation, expressing the delight that, “Adewusi has not disappointed us.”
The President was commended by the group for making a good choice with the appointment of Adewusi who was described as a tested and trusted hand, saying, “his choice is simply a welcome development.”
