Nigeria Records 7 Deaths, More Than 1,500 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria has recorded 1,598 new cases of COVID-19, making it the third-highest daily record in the country ever.
Of the new cases, Lagos recorded its highest ever with 461 new infections followed by FCT and Plateau with 206 and 197 cases respectively.

The total case load of the country now stands at 108,943.
However, of the total cases, 85,367 persons have recovered and have been discharged from isolation centers.
1,420 have died from the virus.
