Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 245 new cases of the novel coronavirus pandemic worldtopnewsng.com can confirm.
In an official tweet by the NCDC, Nigeria now has 7, 261 confirmed cases of the deadly virus as at Friday.
Lagos lead the way with a whopping 131 cases from the 245 fresh cases added on Friday.
As at 23:35 on Friday, Nigeria had recorded 2, 007 recoveries and a total of 221 dead cases so far.
