AC Milan lost further ground in the Serie A title race as they rescued a 1-1 draw against Udinese at the San Siro.

Rodrigo Becao put the visitors in the lead midway through the second half, heading Rodrigo de Paul’s corner past Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Without the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front, Milan took until the depths of stoppage time to find an equaliser when Frank Kessie converted a penalty to score his 25th Serie A goal for the club.

The draw leaves Milan three points behind Inter in the Serie A table, with their city rivals having a game in hand.
