Theo, Brahim See Milan Past Venezia

AC Milan had two former Real Madrid players in Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz to thank as they beat Venezia 2-0 at the Stadio San Siro on Wednesday evening.

Venezia were no pushovers for Milan and it took them until the 68th minute to get their first shot on target. That came from Brahim and fortunately for the Rossoneri went in the back of the net, for his third of the season.

The scoreline was doubled when Theo capped an excellent performance with a goal, as well as the assist for Brahim’s opener.

As a result, Milan are now level with city rivals Inter atop the Serie A table on 13 points, but both could be leapfrogged by Napoli who play on Thursday.

Interestingly, Milan fielded the youngest Serie A starting XI of the season at just 24 years and 166 days old.
