Taylor Swift Unexpectedly Announces Release Of New Album ‘Evermore’
Taylor Swift has surprised fans by announcing that her ninth studio album, titled ‘Evermore’, will be released on Friday to coincide with her 31st birthday.
American singer and songwriter also took their followers by surprise last June when she decided to release her latest album ‘Folklore’.
“I’m elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore’s sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern,” Swift wrote on Twitter. It’s called evermore. To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs.
“To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in.”
The video clip for one of her singles, ‘Willow’, will be released at the same time on YouTube and Swift has revealed that she will be live on the platform to answer fans’ questions.
