AC Milan Confirm Donnarumma’s Dummer Exit

Sporting director Paolo Maldini has confirmed that Gianluigi Donnarumma will leave AC Milan when his contract expires this summer.

Milan have recently completed the signing of goalkeeper Mike Maignan from Lille, subject to the player passing a medical.

“Gigio was a leader and, sometimes, a captain,” Maldini said. “He’s never disrespected us. I wish him all the best.”

The 22-year-old has made 251 appearances for Milan since making his senior debut at the age of 16. His destination is unknown for the time being.
