Despite having secured top spot in the Europa League Group B, Arsenal took to the pitch to grab their sixth victory in the group stage, defeating Dundalk 4-2 in Dublin.

The Gunners got off to a great start, opening the scoring early in the game through Edward Nketiah who lifted the ball over Gary Rogers to put his team ahead. Arsenal doubled their lead through Mohamed Elneny whose effort from outside the box found its way into Rogers’ top right corner.

Dundalk reacted instantly, and Jordan Flores capitalised on a great team move to pull one back for the home side midway through the first part.

Joseph Willock connected with a loose ball in the second part and scored Arsenal’s third, with Nicolas Pepe setting up substitute Folarin Balogun for the Gunners’ fourth in the match.

All Dundalk could do was make it 4-2, with Flores teeing up Sean Hoare whose header ended in the back of the net.

As a result, Arsenal grabbed their sixth European win in the same amount of games this season, while Dundalk have been knocked out from the Europa League without picking up any single point.
