Sergio Aguero Tests Positive For COVID-19
The nightmare that is the 2020/21 season for Sergio Aguero will simply continue to get worse, with the Argentine forward now facing a spell on the sidelines after testing positive for COVID-19.
Having been struggling with a whole host of injuries this term, Aguero’s impact on the team has been minimal, with Gabriel Jesus playing many of Manchester City’s matches this term.
With the positive test result, Aguero will now have to self-isolate, and there are no clues on his eventual return date as the forward has actually displayed signs of the virus.
“After isolating myself from close contact, the last test they gave me showed I tested positive for COVID-19 and I had some symptoms and I’ve been following the doctor’s instructions,” Aguero tweeted.
After a close contact, I've been self-isolating and the latest test I took was positive for COVID 19. I had some symptoms and I'm following doctor's orders for recovery. Take care, everyone!

Pep Guardiola was hoping to bring Aguero back into the team for the upcoming FA Cup tie with Cheltenham, but that will now no longer be possible.
