Real Sociedad End Goal Drought With Second Half Blitz To Beat Levante

Real Sociedad ended their goal drought with three goals in a ten minute second half blitz as they beat Levante 3-1 away.

The Basque side had gone 359 minutes without a goal before Theo struck on 74 minutes and further efforts came from Juanmi and Oyarzabal, to give them the win after Levante had gone ahead early on through Chema.

Levante coach Paco Lopez moved Morales onto the wing and he carried plenty of threat while Garitano moved his side around putting Gorosabel on the right and Aritz in the centre of defence alongside Llorente and Moreno, which did not work out as well and he made changes at the break.

Zurutuza and Juanmi were both brought on at the start of the second half and they helped to create more attacking threat for the visitors.

Theo crowned a good game with the equaliser, and then Januzaj played in Juanmi who fired across the keeper Oier to score.

Levante pushed forward looking to get back on level terms and Real broke on the counter with Oyarzabal finding the back of the net.
