It’s come to light that Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao paid 4,000 euros for being able to pass the theoretical part of the driving test and for being aided in the practical exam in 2012.

The player, who had just signed for Real Madrid, chose to get the licence in Vila Verde, Braga.

“Without help I would not have passed the exam,” he is alleged to have remarked, according to OJogo.

Apparently one of the examiners gave the answers of the examination with gestures of his hand, indicating the correct answer to each question.

At the moment, Coentrao has been fined with a payment of 3,000 euros going to the Food Bank against the Hunger of Braga.

The judicial process consists of 47 accused, made up of examiners, instructors and a GNR agent.
