Odunmbaku Congratulates Tinubu On His Emergence As APC Flagbearer, Says Nigerians Should Expect Economic Growth From 2023

The Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Executive Chairman, Mr David Olusegun Odunmbaku, warmly congratulated former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential primary election.

Odunmbaku, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Jumu’ah Abiodun, on Wednesday defined Tinubu’s landslide victory as a “sweet electoral victory”.

The council boss commented that Tinubu’s track record during his time as governor speaks for him.

He appealed to Nigerians to vote for Tinubu come February 2023, that the country will be more united than ever before and expect economic growth with his experience in governance.

“Congratulations to our great party National Leader, the Jagaban of the Universe and City Boy, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on his emergence as our flagbearer for the 2023 presidential election is a sweet electoral victory for me,” Odunmbaku said.

“How you have turned around the fortune of Lagos between 1999 to 2007 speaks for you. Lagos is now a learning curve for other States in Nigeria, you are a great builder, your political network is across the country and I have no doubt in your victory.”

“With your victory, Nigeria is now in safe hands and the country will be united than ever before, Nigerians should also expect economic growth with your network around the world from 2023.”

“On behalf of my darling wife, Abimbola and the good people of Ojodu, I join your family, political friends and associates in congratulating you on your victory at the just concluded APC presidential primary,” Odunmbaku’s media aide added in a statement.

Tinubu polled 1,271 delegates votes to defeat his closest rivals, former minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan polled 316, 235 and 152 votes respectively.
