Obaseki Engages Stakeholders On Career Devt, Entrepreneurship Initiatives
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, will tomorrow, Thursday, August 26, 2021, play host to religious and traditional leaders, as well as other stakeholders to deliberate on their collaborative role in the career advancement of youths and how to better leverage government’s entrepreneurship initiatives.
In a statement, Managing Director of the Edo State Skills Development Agency (EdoJobs), Ukinebo Dare, said Governor Obaseki will play host to the stakeholders in Government House, Benin City, the state capital.
She noted that the session will explore areas of potential collaboration to bring job creation initiatives closer to youths across the state.
According to her, the topmost priority of the Obaseki-led administration is how residents in Edo State can fully participate and benefit from EdoJobs initiatives.
“Through EdoJobs, the Governor Obaseki-led administration provides unique career development opportunities and entrepreneurship programmes. We believe that ideas and contributions of key stakeholders, including community and religious leaders will make a great impact on how to bring EdoJobs initiatives closer to citizens,” she said.
The event, according to her “will feature discussions on skills development and job creation with His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and an expository visit to some of our key programs like Edo Tech Park, Edo Production Centre, Edo Innovation Hub and Edo Creative Hub.”
