Real Madrid continue to circle for Neymar and Kaka believes his compatriot simply has to grasp the opportunity to move to the LaLiga giants, if that is what he desires.
Putting up a big fight to keep him will be Paris Saint-Germain yet the controversy of leaving his current club won’t be a new sensation, the way Kaka sees it.
“It’s a personal decision, if he signs for Real now, maybe they’ll say he only went to Paris to build a bridge to get to Madrid,” Kaka noted to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“But if that’s what he wants, he has to do it and be ready to manage the situation.
“There’s always a lot of pressure on him. In Brazil it’s incredible, they talk about his performances but also his hairstyle and the bags he carries.
“He’s a great player, but also a celebrity and it isn’t easy to manage all of that.”
If he can lead Brazil to glory in Russia, Neymar will no doubt be compared to Pele as well as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, with Kaka considering where he is placed among those names.
“It’s too soon to say, he is 26 and is reaching the age of more maturity,” added the Brazilian.
“He is one of the candidates to win the Ballon d’Or in the coming years, though, because he is growing.
“Messi and Ronaldo, due to their age, will have to go through a physical decline but Cristiano is 33 and has been a positive surprise, so you can’t say when that will happen.”
With a World Cup winners’ medal of his own, albeit as a bit part player in 2002, Kaka gave his take on Brazil’s current campaign.
“Brazil are going down the right path,” he said.
“Against Serbia it will be seen if Brazil are at full strength yet or not, but after the second half of the match with Costa Rica, I have confidence.”
