Yet another star has landed in Saudi Arabia. Neymar will continue his career at Al-Hilal, as the move is now official.

Negotiations started last week, accelerated over the weekend and now everything has been confirmed.

The Brazilian leaves Paris Saint-Germain after a long spell (he arrived in 2017) and joins the Saudi Pro League, which also features the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mahrez, Karim Benzema, Kanté and Mané.

According to reports, Al-Hilal was the team that made the best offer to PSG and Neymar.

They will pay a transfer fee of over 60 million euros (including bonuses) and Neymar will have a huge contract.

L’Equipe reports that Neymar has signed a contract worth 160 million euros over two seasons.

End of the ‘Neymar era’ in Paris

The MLS was not a viable option and Saudi Arabia proved the perfect escape route for the problem that PSG and Neymar had.

The Brazilian, who arrived in Paris in 2017 for 222 million euros, sees his time with the club come to an end.

He has failed to lift the coveted Champions League, and his time was marked by several highs and many lows which seemed to always be interrupted by numerous injuries. In total he has missed 119 games due to physical problems.

Neymar leaves PSG having played 173 games, scoring 118 goals and 77 assists.
