MTN Apologizes As Customers Groan Over Hours Of Network Outage

On Wednesday, MTN customers were unable to access communication services for hours, leaving them stranded.

The telco consumers’ ability to make calls, send texts, or use the Internet was disrupted by the hours-long network shutdown, which started around noon and lasted for several hours.

Many also complained of how the network downtime affected their ability to make online bank transfers and pay for goods and services.

However, the company has taken to social media apologized to its users over the network outage.

The statement read:

Important information!

 “We are aware that there has been a service outage.”

“We are working to ensure that this is resolved.”

“We truly regret any inconvenience.”
